Description 8:00 to 9:30 - same day registrations (first round 1/2 point bye may be required) 8:00 to 9:00 - Pre-registered check-in and OSCO Election Ballot distribution. If you will be late and need a 1/2 point bye in the first round, call (918) 812-1591. 9:10 – Announcements, Nominations for six OSCO Board Positions. Recognition of OSCO Premier Section Players 9:45 - Round 1. Registration: $25 for all participants Please send pre-registration with $25 postmarked by 1 Mar 2010. The tournament program will include only those registrants received by 1 March. Sections: (5 rounds G/45 for sections 1-4 and 4 rounds of G/60 for section 5) 1) Grades K-4 Open, 2) K-6 Open, 3) Grades 6-9 Open, 4) Grades 9-12 U1100 5) Grades 9-12 Premier Awards: Team Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in sections 1, 2 and 3. Individual scores for sections 4 & 5 are combined for team trophies. An adder of 1.5 is provided to each player in the Premier section to accommodate for playing one less round and for playing in a higher rated section. Team trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are provided for the combined 4 & 5 sections. Individual Trophies awarded to all players scoring 4.0+ in sections 1 through 4 and to those scoring 3.0+ in the 9-12 Premier section. Blitz (5 minute game) tiebreak for 1st only. Individual Medals for plus scores (3-points or more for 5 rounds or 2.5 points or more for 4 rounds). Denker $1000 Scholarship to the Grades 9-12 Open Section Champion for travel and lodging to represent Oklahoma at The Denker Tournament of High School Champions. US Girls Junior Championship $1000 Scholarship to the Grades 9-12 Open Section Champion Girl (top finishing girl after 1st place) for travel and lodging to represent Oklahoma at the 2011 US Girls Junior Championship in Orlando Florida.
